Egypt: From rebellion to revolution

As in every revolution the insurrectionary masses have not asked anyone's permission. The old slogan reappears in our minds: "Workers of all countries, unite!"
Fernando Dorado

Egypt continues to teach. Mubarak and Suleiman, directed from Washington have been unable to remove the popular rebellion. The movement has become a democratic revolution that turns - every minute - to social and economic demands.
On Wednesday (02/02/1911), while the massive protests were attacked at close range by the violent hordes of Egyptian dictator, Obama ordered a "transition now." Mubarak could not ignore it. The situation was not controllable as Washington seemed to believe. We do not know if the President was wrong or just spoke to the rostrum. the people do not believe him.
Al Suleiman appointed as vice president (the "torturer" call it) to ensure the obedience of the most reactionary sectors of the armed forces, reinforced the distrust among the population.
Suleiman called for "opposition" to negotiate. Isolate was the most advanced and aware of the mobilized masses, including those who call themselves "Young Egyptians". But while the autocrat not resign, there is the slightest chance "to negotiate the transition." The popular mandate is clear: "Out Mubarak!".
Despite the power of the military, economic pressure, of attempts to intimidate and divide generating all kinds of rumors about the origin of "dark" of protests, the Egyptian people is showing signs of maturity and clarity. Suleiman wanted to use the "negotiation" to confuse. When they fail has been disabled as a credible interlocutor. One down. The government is neutralized. Most people do not ignore him. The town is watching. Are moments of maximum tension. While prepare the counter-reactionary, large segments of the Arab people joined the march. Dan displayed a remarkable strength and creativity. The working class "centralized" that has been organized in an autonomous and independent and democratic factions within the army - according to what is looming in the distance - who will define the course of the revolution. is very important to differentiate what the media called "opposition" to what the people revolted. All the political parties, including Muslim opposition, the tail will move. There are revolutionary and are not decisive. On the contrary, they fear a revolution that has among its flags to build a secular state and secular. But neither can oppose it. Sobreaguan. As in every revolution the insurrectionary masses have not asked anyone's permission. Your order is unequivocal: "We do not want to Mubarak and his regime!".
revolution or rebellion?
Some people have doubts about the revolutionary character of the current Arab and Egyptian. The truth is that the rebellion was rapidly transformed into a revolution. The conditions were ripe. The people not only fear broke but has been able to identify clearly the road.
The content of their struggle is revolutionary. The desire for freedom and political democracy were suppressed and have exploded. But behind those democratic demands are the needs of the impoverished masses of the people who are the real fire that feeds the boiler. Arab nationalism is still valid but has a new face. The Arab elites showed copper, long ago are not patriots. Nasser's pan-Arabism betrayed. The new Egyptian nationalism - which is claimed in the streets with the word "Dignity!" - Is not exclusionary, even to the people Hebrew. The anti-Semitic because no summons. conditions to promote proletarian internationalism are more mature than ever . is a revolution - well - because the Egyptians and not let themselves be divided on religious grounds. It is a historic step. And they are very clear even the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. This has repercussions throughout the Arab and Islamic world. Turkish workers and peoples, Kurds, Persians, Medes, Afghans, Malays, Indians, Pakistanis, Filipinos, Africans, and many others who profess the religion of Muhammad in all the world, are in this revolution a great example of "religious tolerance" built "from below."
Moreover, it is a revolution because the forces that are leading the movement to represent the new. Are essentially, skilled workers who live under conditions of extreme precariousness. They are "more informal proletarians" not found in the present system solution to their problems. But also, as the process moves forward, will be finding it all the capitalist system which prevents them from making their dreams of being and progress.
The potential he has shown the Arab-Egyptian revolution makes the elaboration and dissemination of a minimum program international. This program must include, among other things, the struggle for peace and against war, against foreign domination, for self-determination of nations and peoples' autonomy, the rights of immigrants, by the clearing of speculative financial mafias and the socialization of the means of production in the hands of large transnational monopolies, by the implantation of an economy of equivalence based on the value and labor, the destruction of the military industrial complex founded on the "chemistry of oil" and intensive development (urgent) energy alternatives degrading nature, and the approval of a plan Global food conversion to meet the famines that are growing development.
The rebellion will continue to grow and the revolution is going to deepen. The popular fear of the insurgency - which is using forms of civil and peaceful struggle - it feels between the capitalist elites around the world. The old slogan reappears in our minds: "
Workers of all countries, unite!"
